The Best Wine Bars in Franglish cities!

The most anticipated wine ritual of the year takes place on the third Thursday of November every year. Many French people would say it is just a commercial craze for freshly harvested wines that never taste too spectacular. After all, the French believe that wine ( and cheese!) usually gets better with age... As the Beaujolais is bottled up very soon after the harvesting period, it has very little time to ferment. It is a very light, fruity red wine that is very easy to drink. So why is such a fuss made out of the arrival of this new wine ? Other than the internationally successful marketing that has boosted sales to over sixty million bottles a year, which brings crucial income to wine growers, wine connoisseurs enjoy the fresh ripeness of the young wine, and appreciate the wine's potential to ripen. But most of all , the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau is a great opportunity to share quality time with loved ones.

Good company, cheese and wine is all a Frenchman needs, right ?

Whether you're a fan of the Beaujolais or not, we've compiled a list of great places to enjoy a glass of wine, at any time of the year !

We've chosen two fantastic wine bars in each of our Franglish towns!
